We ordered the pizza twice from them. It's very good, hot, good toppings. then we got lunch one day, steak sandwiches one day. We didn't really care for those who though. They were a little bland and a little too expensive, but hot and good sub bread used, but they were decent enough to eat for lunch and fix them up a little. It's the only pizza place in town and they close at 7:00 p.m. and they usually stop taking orders before that.

We wanted a good lunch spot before we went out for the day and we found it!!! All four of us got something different and we all enjoyed it. The people working there were super friendly and the got us out fairly quick. I would def stop in to eat here again! You need to try this out!

There is nothing greater than to be served a sandwich so fresh, that the bread is still warm from the oven. The ingredients are of superior quality as well. The staff are very friendly and speak of how this business has now been operated by the same family for several generations. I recommend "The Dagwood". Truly, a pleasant experience overall.

I would give this place, and particularly, Alison if she still works there, a hundred stars. Great pizza and great staff. Great people. I saw this during my entire time at Greeneville. In the fall of 2024, I was at Jamieson's to get a pizza for lunch, but I realized soon after I placed my order that my card wasn't working all of a sudden. Alison was gracious enough to pay with her card without me asking. Even as I refused to take the pizza, she insisted that I have it because she didn't want me to be hungry. It was ironic to me that while on the one hand my bank was giving me a really tough time with my card, on the other I was receiving nothing but kindness from her and the people of Greenville. After a couple of hours, I was able to fix my card issue, draw money from the ATM and pay her back. I wish that I had spent more time in the Moosehead Lake area. I am sure I will soon. Note to self, and to you, reader -- please carry enough cash to pay, and to tip! You will receive a lot of kindness and help from the people at Greeneville. Recognize it.

Pizza was one of the best we ever had (and this is coming from someone who grew up in NJ). We did not have high hopes for a little takeout pizza shop in this small town in Maine, but I am SO glad we tried them out. It was incredible pizza that can easily rival NY/NJ pizza.

The antithesis of comfort food. Kind staff, homey atmosphere, quick service, all of it. The crust was a real star of the show, crunchy and crispy while still chewy. Thank you, Jamos!
